The purpose of this documentation is to explain how to disable the deduction of compulsory employer KiwiSaver contributions for employees that belong to exempt KiwiSaver schemes.
We shall not explain or quote legislation relating to exempt schemes, because employers that have exempt schemes will have all the information they require from the provider of the exempt scheme.

Extremely Fine Tuning
Scroll to the bottom of the screen then shown, and tick
Disable Compulsory KiwiSaver Employer Contributions
Note the new option shown on the KiwiSaver Employer setup screen.
And also the additional option on the KiwiSaver Employee setup screen.
Note that if either the employer default setup, or an individual employee, is set as
Zero Exempt Scheme
and then the fine tuning option is disabled, the relevant setting will revert to
